President's Message

Greetings CSI members,

As we move through April, the pace of work is picking up across many of our projects. With that increased activity often comes tighter schedules, more coordination, and a greater need for clarity in how we communicate and execute our work.

This is where the value of CSI continues to stand out. The principles we promote—well-organized specifications, clear documentation, and consistent processes—are not just ideals, but practical tools that help teams stay aligned and projects stay on track. In a busy season, these fundamentals become even more important.

I encourage you to take a moment this month to think about how these practices show up in your day-to-day work. Whether it’s improving the quality of a submittal, coordinating more effectively with another trade, or simply asking the right questions early, these small efforts can have a meaningful impact on overall project success.

Our chapter is here to support that kind of professional growth and practical application. Through our meetings and conversations, we have an opportunity to learn from one another and bring back ideas that make a difference in the field and in the office.

Thank you for your continued involvement and commitment to CSI.

Warm Regards,
Jason Sandoval CSI, CDT

President of CSI Albuquerque Chapter

If you have ever thought about stepping into a leadership role—or would simply like to learn more—we encourage you to reach out. We are happy to discuss opportunities, expectations, and how you can get started.
