February 2026 Newsletter
President's Message

Greetings CSI members,
February brings great energy to our Albuquerque Chapter as we continue connecting,
learning, and strengthening our construction community. CSI is at its best when we come
together to improve communication, share perspectives, and challenge us to work
smarter across every phase of a project.
Staying involved—whether through meetings, discussions, or professional conversations—
keeps our chapter relevant and valuable. Every interaction adds to the collective experience that makes CSI such an important resource for our industry.
I’m especially excited about our February 12th program, “Stop Chasing Tools: How Better
Communication is Better AI Use.” In this timely and engaging presentation, Felix Diaz will
explore how clearer goals, better context, and shared definitions of success lead not only
to stronger leadership and communication, but also to more selective use of AI. This
session promises practical frameworks you can apply immediately—whether you’re
speaking to people or prompting technology.
I hope you’ll join us, bring your perspective to the discussion, and be part of another great
CSI event. I look forward to seeing you there and continuing the momentum together.
Warm Regards,
Jason Sandoval CSI, CDT

Help Shape The Future of CSI Albuquerque
We are looking for members interested in helping lead the future of CSI Albuquerque.
Serving in a chapter leadership or committee role is a great way to grow professionally, connect with industry peers, and give back to the construction community. Both experienced and newer members are encouraged to get involved—there are opportunities to match many interests and schedules.
If you have ever thought about stepping into a leadership role—or would simply like to learn more—we encourage you to reach out. We are happy to discuss opportunities, expectations, and how you can get started.
