President's Message
Happy First Day of Fall, CSI Albuquerque!
As we welcome the first day of fall and a new season here in New Mexico, I want to take a moment to reflect on the fantastic start to our CSI Albuquerque Chapter programming year. Our September luncheon was an incredible success, featuring CSI Fellow, Lee Orosco, and her engaging presentation, “Risk, Responsibility, and Results: An Interactive Comparison of Project Delivery Methods.” Lee guided attendees through an interactive exploration of Design-Bid-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, and Design-Build, encouraging thoughtful discussion about how each delivery method influences risk, responsibility, collaboration, and project outcomes. A sincere thank you to Lee for sharing her knowledge and experience with our Chapter, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation.
As we begin the 2026–2027 Chapter year, I am also excited to introduce and welcome our Board of Directors!

I am grateful to each of them for volunteering their time, knowledge, and leadership to support our Chapter. Our Board plays an important role in keeping CSI Albuquerque moving forward, and I look forward to working alongside this group as we continue creating opportunities for education, professional development, networking, and connection within our local AEC community.
As we move into fall, there is so much to look forward to! We have a great year of programs, events, and opportunities ahead of us, and I encourage everyone to stay involved, attend a luncheon, bring a colleague, and continue building connections within our Chapter. Thank you to our members, volunteers, presenters, and sponsors who make everything we do possible. Here’s to a great fall and an exciting 2026–2027 year for CSI Albuquerque!

At its September lunch meeting, the chapter had the honor of recognizing Lee Orosco, FCSI, whose generosity has made a lasting difference in the CSI Albuquerque community. Lee has long shared her knowledge and experience while devoting countless volunteer hours to numerous CDT preparation courses. Through that selfless service, she embodies the mission of CSI. The CSI Albuquerque chapter is deeply grateful for all she has contributed.
